Cellular Sales hiring for retail jobs in Maryland
Cellular Sales is expanding, opening another store, and possibly hiring for retail jobs in Maryland.
They are looking to fill seven new sales/retail positions. Local job seekers will be interviewing for all the positions.
The company is a Verizon wireless retailer and says it is one of the largest in the nation.
The new store is at 13340 New Hampshire Ave in Silver Spring. The company currently operates 12 retail locations in the state of Maryland.
According to Nielsen reports, more than 46 percent of Americans own smartphones. As mobile devices become more complex, educating each individual about different devices and capabilities becomes more important.
“We discovered the best way that we can serve our customers is by having a knowledgeable team,” said Kory White, regional director at Cellular Sales. “This begins and ends with continuous customer-centered training and selective hiring.”
“It all comes down to making sure our customers are happy because if they aren’t, then we haven’t done our job,” White said.
Cellular Sales was founded in Knoxville, Tenn. 19 years ago and has, for the past four years, been named by Inc. Magazine one of the nation’s fastest growing privately-owned retailers, operating more than 530 stores with nearly 4,000 employees.
