Company hires for underwriting jobs in Maryland
FCCI said this week it has secured a key hire for underwriting jobs in Maryland.
FCCI provides automobile, crime, general liability, inland marine, property, commercial and contract surety, umbrella, workers’ compensation and agribusiness/farmowners insurance coverage to more than 23,000 business insurance customers.
The Sarasota-based property and casualty insurer hired Jeanine J. Ferritor, CIC, as a senior marketing underwriter to develop FCCI’s independent agency relationships in Maryland, where it has recently expanded.
She will be based in Ellicott City. Her most recent position was as a senior sales executive for Zurich in the Maryland and Washington, D.C., area. She earned her Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2000.
Chris Piela, senior vice president of FCCI’s Southeast Region, says, “Jeanine’s experience and connections in Maryland are an ideal fit for the way FCCI operates. As a regional company in 15 states, FCCI strives for local business relationships by hiring people who know and understand their communities and the industries within those communities.”
Ferritor said, “I’m excited to introduce FCCI as a new carrier in Maryland,” says Ferritor. “FCCI offers an exceptional level of integrity and service, and we’re interested in appointing agents with the same commitment to policyholders.”
